Beat 102-103 was the first of the newly-created regionally licensed services. The music radio station for 15-34 year olds serves the south-east of the country from WLR FM's newly-built studios. They launched on July 1st 2003 and are licensed to cover Wexford, Waterford, Carlow, Kilkenny and South Tipperary.
