We also add in the occasional classic from the 70s - songs you love, songs that have stood the test of time.

Citybeat is now into its tenth year of broadcasting and throughout this time has proven a consistent hit with its audience. 2007 has been a phenomenal year for the station, with Citybeat picking up no less than six major local, national and international awards so far, including a World Medal at the New York Radio Festival and two Big Buzz Awards, voted for by the public, for Best Irish Commercial Radio Station and Best Breakfast Show.

We’re proud that we are the voice of Belfast, and if it’s happening in our city – you’ll hear about it first on Citybeat!
