Downtown Radio

Downtown Radio broadcasts from Newtownards in Co Down across much of Northern Ireland. The station launched in 1976, the first of the ILRs to hit Northern Ireland. In the '80s the station rebranded as DTR FM for a short while following an extension of their FM network..
