This was the feedback we got when LMFM advertised for a researcher with us:
We had a really good response! We'd 15 good candidates apply, far better a response than I'd expect from a national newspaper ad.

In April 2007 Dublin City Anna Livia FM advertised for a presenter /producer with us. This is what they had to say:
We've had a seriously good response to our piece on your Job Spot. Really top quality candidates. This was the only ad we ran and it is surprising the response to what is a voluntary gig.

RADIO JOURNALIST WANTED AT CORK’s 96FM & C103

Cork’s 96FM & C103 is Ireland’s biggest local radio operation. We now require a journalist to join the newsteam at C103.
You’ll be a self starter, have a great on-air broadcasting voice and a strong sense of what makes really great local news. The role will involve preparing and reading bulletins, chasing local leads and forward planning news for the days ahead. Knowledge of County Cork is desirable.
The role will be initially based at our newsroom in Mallow but is likely to move to Bandon later in the year.

96FM & C103 are part of UTV Media plc and is an equal opportunities employer.

To apply:
If you’re interested please email your CV and short demo to Barry O’Mahony, Head of News, at news@96fm.ie or by post to him at Broadcasting House, Patrick’s Place, Cork.

Closing date, Wednesday 04th August 2010.
